We are excited to announce the recipients of Second Nature’s inaugural Climate Luminary Honors! These prestigious awards recognize the exceptional climate action efforts of six colleges and universities across five distinct categories, as well as a special recognition for Climate Resiliency in Action.
The honorees exemplify innovation and dedication, with projects that align with priorities in the Inflation Reduction Act. They demonstrate the power of higher education to drive sustainability, equity, and resilience. This diverse group includes community colleges, research institutions, and HBCUs, highlighting the critical role of equitable climate solutions across all types of institutions.
The recipients will be celebrated during the 2025 Higher Education Climate Leadership Summit, taking place this weekend, February 2-4, in Washington, D.C.
