This toolkit was developed by the former Carbon Pricing in Higher Education working group, convened to advance carbon pricing through colleges and universities. The group was founded by Yale University, Swarthmore College, the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, and Second Nature. Its goals were to 1) support colleges and universities that wish to model internal carbon pricing on campus, and 2) explore the role of higher education in advancing carbon pricing on a state, regional, or federal level.
The Carbon Pricing and Social Cost of Carbon Working Group is a current group facilitated by Second Nature for institutions wishing to explore carbon pricing further, and in line with the latest science and efforts of their peers. To join, sign up here.
