Company Description

Clearloop creates carbon solutions for organizations of all sizes, from global corporations to small businesses and educational institutions, to decarbonize the economy, expand access to clean energy, and accelerate the development of new solar projects in American communities where the greatest economic and environmental benefits can be achieved.

Whether your institution has Scope 1, 2, or 3 commitments, Clearloop can help you achieve your goal with local, high-impact, high-quality emissions reductions – whether acknowledged in metric tons of carbon as Carbon Credits (tCO2) or Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

How it works: Clearloop customers pay to support the construction of a portion or an entire brand-new solar project, which is measured in watts of capacity. In return, customers receive the lifetime amount of environmental attributes generated by that capacity of solar, and get credit for the emissions reductions – yours to claim at one time or over time. At your discretion, your organization can either offset its carbon footprint with equivalent amount of carbon credits or match its power consumed with RECs. The bottom line: Every investment in a Clearloop project directly supports the construction of brand-new solar infrastructure in carbon-intensive, historically underinvested communities that have been left out of the clean energy transition.
